Between pets, cooking smells, dust, and wildfire season, the air inside a home can get stale fast. An air purifier with a real air quality sensor takes the guesswork out of it, because it shows you what’s going on and speeds up when the air gets worse.
I set up the MOOKA EPI360 Air Purifier in my living room, which is where my dog loves to hang out. This isn’t sponsored by MOOKA. It’s my honest review, and the video was originally posted on my Ryzzun YouTube channel.
In this MOOKA air purifier review, I’ll cover what it is, the specs, the key features, how I set it up and used it, the pros and cons, who it’s for, and some common questions.

What Is the MOOKA EPI360 Air Purifier?
The MOOKA EPI360 is a tower-style home air purifier built for large rooms. It uses a three-stage filter (a washable pre-filter, an H13 True HEPA layer, and an activated carbon layer) and has a built-in infrared PM2.5 sensor that reads the air in real time.
That sensor drives the auto mode. When the air gets worse, the indicator light shifts color and the fan speeds up on its own. When the air is clean again, it settles back down.

How I Used It
Unwrapping the Filter
The first step is unwrapping the filter, since it ships wrapped in plastic. The filter has a washable pre-filter on the outside for hair and dust, an H13 True HEPA layer, and an activated carbon layer for smells. It snaps right into place.
Controls
It’s super easy to use. One button steps through the fan speeds, and it gets a little louder with each step, then turns off. If you don’t want to think about it, you can let it adjust automatically in auto mode.
Filter Reminder and Timer
There’s a light that tells you when it’s time to change the filter or wash the pre-filter. You can also set a timer for however many hours you want it to run.
Air Quality Display
The numbers on the display show how clean the air is. Lower is better. When the air is clean, you get a green light, so you can tell at a glance how the room is doing.
Pet Odors
My dog loves the living room, and this does an amazing job pulling in odors and some of the pet hair around that area. That’s really the main reason I wanted it there.
Things to Consider Before Buying
- Filter replacement: MOOKA says to replace the filter every 2 to 6 months, depending on use, so factor that in.
- Remove the plastic: new filters come wrapped, and the wrap has to come off before you install it.
- Placement: give it some open space so it can pull air in from all sides.
- Coverage numbers are the brand’s: the 3,000 sq ft figure is MOOKA’s one-hour rating, not something I measured.
