The Florise 6×4 metal storage shed gave me a dedicated, lockable place in my backyard for batteries, electronics, tools, portable power stations and generators, and in my own video review it proved roomy for its size, with room for two storage racks I bought separately and added myself, plus space in the middle to move around. The shed does not include shelving. The galvanized steel shed measures 72.5 by 47.1 by 78.1 inches, according to its Amazon listing, and sold for $129.99 on Amazon when I checked on October 23, 2026.
In this Florise 6×4 metal storage shed review, I cover what the shed is, its specs, how I set it up and organized it, how I prepared it for the rainy season, and answers to common questions.

What Is the Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed?
The Florise 6×4 metal storage shed is a compact, gable-roof outdoor shed made of galvanized steel panels. Florise markets it on Amazon for storing items such as lawn mowers, snow blowers, bikes, grills, outdoor chairs and generators, and says it can also work as a garden shed, pet house or trash enclosure.
The listing describes the steel as thick, galvanized and UV resistant, with overlapping wall panels designed to shed water and resist moisture. It includes a metal lock on a hinged door, air vents for circulation and a transparent window. A floor frame is not included in the “No Base” version I used, and Florise sells a separate option with a base.
Florise also offers the same design in other sizes on the listing, including 3×5, 8×10 and 10×12 feet, so the 6×4 sits on the smaller end of the lineup. It is a good fit for a side yard or a corner of a patio where a larger shed would not fit.

Why I Added a Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed to My Backyard
I have quite a bit of equipment, including batteries, electronics, tools, portable power stations and generators, and before this shed it was stored in different places. Instead of having my equipment all over the house, I wanted one dedicated spot where I could keep everything organized and get to it whenever I need it. For a 6×4 shed, it is roomy enough to do that.
Weather protection was the main reason I chose it. I have a lot of electrical equipment, and I don’t want any of it getting wet. The shed is built from galvanized steel with overlapping wall panels designed to help keep rain and moisture out, which matters to me with the rainy season approaching.
Setting Up the Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed
I found assembly pretty easy, and the shed came together nicely. Florise includes labeled components and detailed assembly instructions, and the listing estimates two to three people and about five to seven hours. Florise also includes gloves for assembly.
Because the No Base version does not include a floor frame, plan the ground under it before you start. A level, solid surface such as a concrete pad or pavers is a good starting point.
How I Organized My Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed
One of the first things I did was add two storage racks inside the shed, one on each end. The racks are my own, bought separately; they do not come with the Florise shed. That gives me a lot of extra shelf space without taking up the whole floor, and it leaves room in the middle so I can move around and reach things.
I keep smaller tools and accessories on the shelves and use the open storage areas for larger equipment. Once everything was assembled and organized, I was really happy with how it turned out.
The built-in window is another feature I really like. It lets natural light into the shed, which makes it easier to see what is inside during the day without always needing extra lighting. The shed also has ventilation openings that help air flow through it. The door has a locking mechanism, which matters to me because I am storing equipment I want to keep secure, so I can close and lock the shed when I am done.
Adding a Wood Floor to the Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed
Since the shed I used does not come with a floor, I installed Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles along the floor between my two storage racks. The tiles fit perfectly in that space and give the inside of the shed a finished look.
I covered the full flooring project, including how the tiles snap together and how many packs a shed floor takes, in my Acacia interlocking deck tiles review.
Keeping Equipment Dry in a Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed
Florise says the overlapping wall panels are waterproof and moisture-proof and that the vents let air circulate. Even so, a weather-resistant shed is not the same as a climate-controlled room, so I still plan to monitor for moisture during the rainy season.
These are the habits I am following for storing sensitive gear:
- Keep batteries, power stations and electronics elevated on the racks rather than on the floor.
- Leave the vents clear so air can move through the shed.
- Check inside after heavy rain, especially along the base and door.
- Store fuel-powered equipment, such as generators, according to the manufacturer’s storage instructions.
- Close and lock the door whenever I am finished.
Who Should Buy the Florise 6×4 Metal Storage Shed?
The Florise 6×4 metal storage shed makes sense if you want a small, lockable metal shed for tools, yard equipment or backup power gear and you have a corner of the yard that is about 6 by 4 feet. I recommend it for storing tools, gardening equipment and other belongings. It is also a good match if you plan to add your own shelving, since the 78.1-inch height leaves room for tall racks, which you will need to buy separately.
If you need to store a riding mower or want a walk-in workspace, one of the larger sizes on the same listing, such as 8×10 or 10×12 feet, would be a better fit. If you do not already have a pad or flooring plan, consider the version with a base or budget for flooring like deck tiles.
