Ideas, meetings, and conversations move fast, and typing notes means you’re not fully in the moment. Phone voice memos help, but then you have to listen back and write everything up yourself.
UMEVO sent me its UMEVO AI Voice Recorder. It makes capturing ideas, meetings, and conversations feel effortless. I attached it to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it worked flawlessly.
In this UMEVO AI voice recorder review, I’ll cover what it is, the specs, recording, the app’s transcription and summaries, recording modes, battery and storage, privacy, the pros and cons, and who it’s for.

Recording
With it attached to my iPhone 15 Pro Max, I started recording with a single press. I spoke normally, and it captured my voice clearly without any setup or adjustments. It stayed securely attached and didn’t get in the way.
Transcription and Summaries in the App
When I opened the app, the recording appeared almost instantly. The AI transcription came up quickly, and I scrolled through the text to review it. The app also generated summaries, key points, and structured notes. The summary made it easy to review what was said without re-listening to the whole recording.
