Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles Review: Wood Flooring for My Shed

My acacia interlocking deck tiles review: 12-inch snap-together wood tiles on a raised drainage base that fit perfectly as flooring inside my storage shed.

The Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles are 12-inch solid acacia squares that snap together on a raised drainage base, and in my own video review they gave my outdoor storage shed a wooden floor that fit perfectly between my two storage racks. I bought them myself for the project. A 9-tile pack sold for $39.99 on Amazon when I checked on October 21, 2026.

In this acacia interlocking deck tiles review, I cover the specs, how I installed them inside my shed, how many packs a shed floor takes, how they compare with larger deck tile sets, and common questions.

What Are the Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles?

The Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles are modular floor tiles made of solid Vietnamese acacia hardwood slats mounted on a plastic interlocking base. The listing markets them for patios, balconies, pool surrounds and shower floors. The base raises the wood off the surface underneath and channels water below the slats.

They come pre-finished with cured linseed oil, a plant-based wood finish, so the listing says there’s no sealing or prep before you install them. Each tile clicks into its neighbors without tools, nails or adhesive, and pulls apart just as easily.

How I Installed the Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles in My Shed

With the rainy season coming, I wanted to make a few improvements to my Florise 6×4 ft outdoor storage shed, especially keeping my belongings off the floor and away from moisture. These 12-inch acacia tiles were one of the things I added.

A perfect fit between my storage racks

I have two storage racks, one on each end of the shed, with an open space at the base between them. The wooden tiles fit perfectly in that space, giving me a wooden floor area without making any cuts or adjustments and without rearranging anything inside the shed. They don’t take up any extra storage space.

Snap-together installation

I like how easily they connect. The interlocking base lets me line the tiles up and snap them into place without screws, nails or adhesive. If I ever need to clean underneath or rearrange the shed, I can disconnect them and move them around.

Keeping stored items off a damp floor

With the rainy season approaching, I’m thinking about moisture that could make its way into the shed near the floor. The raised plastic base has drainage channels underneath, which let water move below the wooden surface instead of collecting directly on top. They won’t waterproof my shed or prevent flooding, and I still need to keep the shed sealed, but they give me a raised surface so items aren’t sitting directly on a damp floor.

No sealing, and a nicer look

Because the wood comes pre-finished with linseed oil, I didn’t have to apply a separate sealant before installing them. The natural acacia also makes the inside of my metal shed look a lot more finished.

About the Florise 6×4 Outdoor Storage Shed

The Florise 6×4 ft Outdoor Storage Shed is the shed I put the tiles in. Per its Amazon listing, it measures 72.5″ L x 47.1″ W x 78.1″ H and is made of galvanized steel, with a lockable door, a window and air vents. The listing notes that the frame floor is not included, and that assembly takes 2–3 people about 5–7 hours. It sold for $129.99 on Amazon on October 21, 2026.

How Many Packs of Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles for a Shed Floor?

A 6×4 ft shed floor is about 24 sq ft. Each 9-tile pack covers about 9 sq ft, so the full floor would take 3 packs (27 tiles, about 27 sq ft), with a few tiles left over or trimmed to fit. At $39.99 a pack, that’s $119.97. The shed’s listed outer dimensions are slightly under 6×4 ft, and I only covered the open area between my racks, so measure your own space first.

Acacia Interlocking Deck Tiles vs. Larger Deck Tile Sets

One 9-pack is under $100. If you’re covering a bigger area, these acacia sets sold for over $100 on Amazon on October 21, 2026:
