Overhead lights leave shadows exactly where you’re working: on the countertop, the desk, or inside a display cabinet. Under counter lighting fills in those dark spots, and puck lights are one of the easiest ways to add it.
I installed the AIBOO LED Under Counter Lighting kit under my table, and it lit up the whole area really well. This video was originally posted on my Ryzzun YouTube channel.
In this AIBOO puck light review, I’ll cover what the kit is, the specs, the key features, how I installed and used it, the pros and cons, who it’s for, and some common questions.

What Is the AIBOO LED Under Counter Lighting Kit?
The AIBOO LED Under Counter Lighting kit is a set of 12 ultra-slim LED puck lights that plug into a 12V adapter. Splitters connect all the lights together, and a wireless remote turns them on, off, and dims them.
There’s no hardwiring involved. You stick the lights up with adhesive tape or screw them in, run the cables to the splitters, and plug the adapter into an outlet. It’s made for under kitchen cabinets, curio and display cabinets, shelves, desks, and tables.

How I Used It
Installation: No Wiring
I put these under my table. They plug into a 12V adapter, so there’s no wiring or extra parts needed. You can stick them on with the strong adhesive or use the included screws if you want something more permanent.
Low Profile
They’re super thin, so once you stick them on, you barely notice them until you turn them on.
Brightness and Light Quality
They give off a bright daylight white that makes a space feel clean and modern, and they lit up the whole area under my table really well.
Wireless Remote and Dimming
The wireless remote lets you dim them from very low to full brightness, and it remembers the last setting you used. I like that the remote works from a distance, so you don’t have to bend down to turn anything on.
Things to Consider Before Buying
- Daylight white only: this kit is 6000K. If you prefer a warmer look, check AIBOO’s other color options.
- Cable management: the lights connect with cables, so plan where they’ll run. AIBOO sells cable clips separately.
- Indoor use: they aren’t water resistant.
- Needs an outlet nearby for the adapter.
