How I Used It
For my testing, I focused on the fingerprint functionality, which is the feature most people will likely use on a daily basis.
In the video, I register my thumbprint and then repeatedly unlock the lock using biometric access. One thing I noticed is how convenient it is not having to carry a key or remember a combination. Simply placing your finger on the sensor unlocks the padlock in seconds.
The fingerprint reader responds quickly, making it easy to access the lock without going through multiple steps.
I also like the longer shackle design. Compared to some compact padlocks, the extra clearance provides more flexibility when attaching it to larger handles, zippers, storage compartments, lockers, gates, or other items.
The Bluetooth app adds another layer of functionality beyond the fingerprint sensor. Through the app, users can manage fingerprints, review unlock records, and access additional controls directly from their phone.
Another feature I appreciate is the USB-C charging port. Since many devices now use USB-C, it’s convenient to charge the lock using cables that are already commonly carried for phones, tablets, and other electronics.
