How to Add Bank Account to Crypto.com
Welcome back to the Money Mastery series! Let me teach you How to Add Bank Account to Crypto.com and link it to transfer USD in order to Buy and purchase Bitcoin. Once linked, you’ll be able to easily deposit funds and purchase your favorite cryptocurrencies, including BTC, Ethereum (ETH) and XRP.
Step 1: Access the Fiat Wallet
- Open the Crypto.com app and navigate to the Accounts section.
- Select Fiat Wallet and click on Deposit Now.
- Choose USD (US Dollar) as your currency.
Step 2: Link Your Bank Account
- Select Instant Deposit and click Add Bank Account.
- Crypto.com uses Plaid to securely connect your bank account.
- Follow the verification process and select your bank.
- Log in using your bank’s credentials.
- Choose the account type (e.g., Checking Account) to link.
- Confirm the connection.
- You’ll see a message: “Bank Account Verified.”
Step 3: Deposit Funds into Crypto.com
- Return to the Fiat Wallet and click Deposit Now again.
- Select USD, then choose your newly linked bank account (e.g., Chase).
- Enter the deposit amount (e.g., $20).
- Ensure your bank account has at least 1.3x the deposit amount available for the next seven days to avoid issues.
- Click Confirm to complete the deposit.
Step 4: Buy Cryptocurrency with USD
- Once the funds are in your USD wallet, navigate to the cryptocurrency you want to buy (e.g., Bitcoin).
- Select Buy, specify the amount (e.g., $2 worth of BTC), and confirm the purchase.
- The transaction will be completed instantly, and your crypto balance will be updated.

- Linked Bank: Chase account.
- Deposited: $20 into the USD Fiat Wallet.
- Purchased: $2 worth of Bitcoin (BTC).
