How to Lock Cash App Card and Unlock Your Debit Card in CashApp
Welcome back to the Money Mastery Series! Today, I’ll show you how to lock your cash app debit card within your Cash App account. This quick tutorial will help you secure your funds when needed.
Step 1: Access the Debit Card Settings
- Open Cash App.
- Tap the debit card button at the bottom of the screen.
- You’ll be taken to the Card Settings page.
Step 2: Lock Your Cash App Card
- On the Card Settings page, tap Lock Card.
- Your card is now locked.
- Physical Cash App Card: Cannot be used for purchases or ATM withdrawals.
- Digital Cash App Card: Unusable in apps like Apple Pay or for online transactions.
Step 3: Unlock Your Cash App Debit Card
- To unlock, tap the Unlock Card button.
- If you’ve enabled Face ID or another security measure, complete the authentication process.
- Your card is now unlocked and ready for use.
Quick Tips
- Locked Card: A great way to secure your funds if your card is misplaced or you want to pause transactions temporarily.
- Unlocked Card: Functions with Apple Pay, digital transactions, and the physical card.
