How to Set Up Fiat Wallet on Crypto.com
Welcome back to the Money Mastery series! Let me teach you How to Set Up Fiat Wallet on Crypto.com in order to add USD from your bank account so that you can buy Crypto like bitcoin
Step 1: Setting Up Your USD Fiat Wallet
- Open the Crypto.com app and go to the Accounts section.
- Click on Fiat Wallet, then choose Set Up New Currency.
- Select USD (US Dollar) as your currency.
Step 2: Agree to User Terms
- Tap View User Agreement and read through the details.
- Click Accept to proceed.
Step 3: Complete Verification
- For regulatory reasons, additional information is required.
- Click Submit Now and provide your Social Security Number (SSN).
- Crypto.com will verify your details.
- A notification will confirm once verification is complete.
Step 4: Deposit Funds into Your Fiat Wallet
- After verification, navigate back to your Fiat Wallet.
- Click Deposit Now and choose USD.
- Select Instant Deposit, then click Add Bank Account.
- Crypto.com will use Plaid to securely link your bank account.
- Choose your bank (e.g., Chase) and log in to verify your account.
Step 5: Deposit Money
- Return to the Fiat Wallet, click Deposit Now, and select USD.
- Choose the verified bank account and enter your deposit amount (e.g., $20).
- Confirm the transaction.
- Ensure your bank has at least 1.3x the deposit amount available for seven days to avoid issues.
Step 6: Buy Cryptocurrency Using Your Fiat Wallet
- After the funds are added, select a cryptocurrency to purchase (e.g., XRP).
- Use your USD balance to make the purchase.
- Example: Buy $2 worth of XRP.
- Confirm the transaction.
- In this example, you’ll purchase approximately 0.9 XRP.
