How I Used It
The biggest difference I noticed between these two flashlights is their overall approach.
The Lepro Lighting Ever is the larger and heavier of the two. It measures about 4.2 inches long and weighs approximately 4.5 ounces. The EverBrite is noticeably smaller at 3.5 inches and only about 1.12 ounces, so there’s a substantial difference when holding them side by side.
The Lepro also gives you an adjustable focus. By sliding the head, I can switch between a wider flood beam and a more concentrated spotlight. That’s useful when I want to illuminate a larger nearby area or focus the light farther into the distance.
The EverBrite keeps things much simpler with its 1W LED. There’s no adjustable zoom, but its smaller size and much lighter weight make it very easy to carry around.
Another advantage of the EverBrite is the included lanyard. I can loop it around my wrist or use it to hang the flashlight somewhere convenient. The Lepro doesn’t have that same lanyard.
Both flashlights run on three AAA batteries, so neither requires a proprietary rechargeable battery or charging cable.
The Lepro is rated IPX4 for water resistance, which is another consideration if you’re planning to keep a flashlight with your camping or outdoor equipment.
Ultimately, these are two different approaches to a compact flashlight. The Lepro gives you the adjustable beam, longer body, and published 140-lumen output, while the EverBrite focuses more on being extremely small, lightweight, and simple to carry.
