The cheapest Ninja Slushi recipes in one creator’s tests cost about 9 cents an ounce, close to a convenience-store slush, according to Logan Nathanson, a YouTube recipe creator who priced each ingredient. His Sprite and cotton candy slush took only 15 minutes.
Sugar-free drinks are trickier, since sweeteners freeze differently than sugar. Joe’s Phenomenal, a YouTube recipe channel, got Coke Zero to slush by adding allulose and a pinch of xanthan gum. Machine prices were checked on Amazon October 16, 2026.

Sugar-free Ninja Slushi recipes: the allulose trick
Sugar keeps a churned mix from freezing solid; most substitutes don’t, so the mix can freeze into chunks, Joe’s Phenomenal explained. Allulose crystallizes like sugar, so he added 2 tablespoons per can of Coke Zero, about half a teaspoon of xanthan gum as a thickener, mixed it into a slurry with a little water, and raised the freeze temperature one level. Ninja’s listing also says sugar-free recipes need a recommended sweetener to slush.
