Running shoes get dirty fast. Dark colors hide some of it, but if you zoom in, the grime is all over the sides, and white soles slowly turn gray. Tossing them in the washing machine can warp them, and plain soap and water rarely gets into the mesh and seams.
The Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner is my go-to when it comes to getting my shoes clean. I bought this kit myself, and I used it on my daily running shoes, a pair of dark midnight blue Adidas with white soles.
In this Pink Miracle shoe cleaner review, I’ll cover what it is, the specs, what’s in the kit, how I use it step by step, my before and after results, the protector spray, what other buyers say, the pros and cons, and who it’s for.

What Is the Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner?
The Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner is a concentrated liquid cleaner that you work into shoes with a brush. On Amazon, Pink Miracle describes it as a cleaning solution for whites, mesh, vinyl, knit, and cloth, and as a gentle saddle soap formula for boots, sandals, hats, and bags.
It isn’t a spray-and-walk-away product. You add a little to a wet brush, scrub until it foams, and wipe the dirt away. That hands-on approach is exactly why it gets into the textured spots where dirt hides.
Pink Miracle Specs
- Brand: Pink Miracle
- Size: 4 oz bottle (per the Amazon listing for this ASIN)
- Included in the base listing: shoe cleaner and a multi-purpose brush
- Materials it’s made for: leather, vinyl, nubuck, suede, canvas, and cloth, per Pink Miracle’s care instructions on Amazon
- Made in the USA, per my video description
- Amazon rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars at the time I checked
What’s in My Kit
The kit I use in the video is the fuller version. It came with:
- Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner concentrate
- Pink Miracle Brush for working the cleaner into the material
- White towel with the Pink Miracle logo, for wiping off the suds
- Pocket wipes to take with you on the go
- The Protector, a water and stain repellent spray
Amazon offers several Pink Miracle versions on the same page, including a Shoe Care Kit that Pink Miracle lists with an 8 oz cleaner and brush, The Protector spray, 5 cleaning wipes, and a microfiber towel. Check which option you’re choosing before you buy, because the base option lists only the cleaner and brush.
Key Features
- Concentrated formula: only a few drops on a wet brush start the foam
- Foaming action: lifts dirt out of crevices and textured spots
- Works on many materials: whites, mesh, knit, canvas, leather, suede, and more, per Pink Miracle
- Cleans and conditions shoes, per my video description
- Compact bottle that’s easy to store
How I Use It, Step by Step
1. Wet the brush. Get the Pink Miracle Brush nice and wet first.
2. Add the cleaner. Put a small amount of Pink Miracle directly on the brush.
3. Scrub the dirty spots. Brush wherever you see dirt and grime. It foams up very easily and quickly, and you can see the dirt coming off right away.
4. Wipe it off. Use the included white towel to clean off the remaining suds all around the shoe.
5. Protect them. Once they’re clean, spray on The Protector to help keep water and stains off.
Pink Miracle’s own care instructions say the same thing: use a small amount and scrub lightly. You don’t need to soak the shoe.
My Before and After Results
The difference was huge. I put the cleaned shoe next to the dirty one, and the cleaned one looked pretty much new. The bottom came out clean and white, and the Adidas logo really pops now. The whole shoe looks much cleaner, even on the dark blue upper where the dirt was harder to see.
It didn’t take long either. Most of the work was a few minutes of brushing and a quick wipe with the towel.
The Protector Spray
After the big reveal, I finished with The Protector spray. It’s a water and stain repellent, so it helps the shoes stay clean longer when I go out for my runs. If you’re going to spend time cleaning your shoes, this step helps that effort last.
What Other Buyers Say
Amazon’s AI summary of customer reviews says many buyers find the kit effective and easy to use, with some saying it takes about 3 minutes per shoe and makes shoes look like new. Opinions are mixed in a few areas. Some buyers say it brightens whites, while others report it stripped color or left stains, and opinions on value are split.
My takeaway is to test it on a small hidden spot first, especially on colored or delicate materials, and to scrub lightly as Pink Miracle recommends.

Who Is It For?
The Pink Miracle Shoe Cleaner is for:

If you only want to wash shoes once a year and toss them in the machine, this hands-on method may feel like more work than you want.

What materials does Pink Miracle work on?
