I recently had a tire on my Jeep drop all the way down to 11 PSI. That’s low enough that driving to a gas station air pump isn’t a great idea, so it was the perfect opportunity to test the Ventus Pro Tire Inflator Portable Air Compressor in a real-world situation.
In my video, I use the Ventus Pro to bring that tire back up to 35 PSI, and then I top off the other three tires so the pressure is even across all four wheels.
In this Ventus Pro tire inflator review, I’ll cover the specs, how it handled a nearly flat tire, its cordless and 12V power options, the pros and cons, and who it’s for.

What Is the Ventus Pro Tire Inflator?
The Ventus Pro is a portable air compressor sold on Amazon under the Woowind brand. It runs cordless from a built-in battery, or you can plug it into your vehicle’s 12V outlet for continuous use. It reaches up to 150 PSI, and the listing rates its airflow at 22 liters per minute from a 19mm motor.
Unlike many small inflators made of plastic, the Ventus Pro has an aluminum alloy body, which the brand says makes it more durable and heat-resistant.

How I Used It: 11 PSI to 35 PSI
My Jeep’s tire was sitting at only 11 PSI. Using the Ventus Pro Tire Inflator, I was able to quickly bring it back up to the recommended 35 PSI without needing to visit a gas station or drag out a larger air compressor.
After filling the low tire, I checked the rest of my tires and used the inflator to bring everything into balance. That’s something I’d recommend doing any time one tire is low, since uneven pressure affects handling and tire wear.
Easy to Monitor
The digital display made it easy to watch the pressure in real time. With the auto shut-off feature, I could set the target PSI and let the inflator stop on its own once it got there, instead of guessing or overfilling the tire.
Cordless or 12V Power
I also like having both cordless operation and a 12V vehicle power option. Cordless mode is convenient for quick top-ups. For larger vehicles or multiple tires, the included 12V power cord gives you unlimited runtime. The listing says the battery can top up as many as 15 standard car tires per charge, and recommends the 12V cord for bigger SUV, truck, and 4×4 tires.
More Than Car Tires
With the included Presta and Dunlop valve adapters, ball needle, and swimming ring nozzle, it also works for bikes, motorcycles, and sports balls. The listing notes it isn’t suitable for SUPs.
What’s in the Box
According to the listing, you get the Ventus Pro inflator, a 12V DC car power cord, a braided flexible hose, Presta and Dunlop valve adapters, a swimming ring nozzle, a ball needle, a USB-C charging cable, and a carrying pouch.
