Tami Tami Adjustable Bed Frame Review: T450 and T600 Bases With Zero Gravity

My Tami Tami adjustable bed frame review: head up to 65°, foot up to 45°, Zero Gravity and TV modes, quiet motor, nightlight, and a 750 lb capacity.

I spend a lot of hours typing away on my laptop, and sitting at a desk all day isn’t always the most comfortable setup for my back. Stacking pillows behind me in bed never really worked either.

That’s why I’ve been using the Tami Tami T450 Adjustable Bed Frame for both relaxing and working from bed. With the wireless remote, I can raise the head and the foot until I’m in a comfortable, supported position, then lay it back flat when it’s time to sleep.

In this Tami Tami adjustable bed frame review, I’ll cover what it is, the specs, the key features, how I use it, the pros and cons, who it’s for, and some common questions. I’ll also touch on the step-up T600 model.

What Is the Tami Tami Adjustable Bed Frame?

The Tami Tami T450 Adjustable Bed Frame is an electric adjustable bed base. The head and foot sections lift independently, so you can sit up, raise your legs, or do both, all from a wireless remote. It has preset Zero Gravity and TV positions, a one-touch flat button, and an under-bed nightlight.

The Tami Tami T600 Adjustable Bed Frame is the more feature-packed sibling. Per its Amazon listing, it adds massage modes, dual-side USB ports, side pockets, and an Anti Snore preset, with a higher 850 lb weight capacity.

How I Use It

The main way I use the Tami Tami T450 Adjustable Bed Frame is as my work-from-home setup. I raise the head section until I’m sitting comfortably upright with my laptop, and honestly, it’s much more comfortable than sitting in a chair in front of a desk for hours.

I also lift the foot section. That way I’m not only getting back support, I’m also getting leg support from the incline on the leg side. I already deal with some lower back strain from typing all day, so having that upright support on my lower back makes a real difference while I keep working away.

The presets are handy too. Zero Gravity and TV mode are right on the remote, so I can switch depending on whether I’m working, watching something, or just relaxing. The motor is quiet, under 45 decibels, so changing positions isn’t disruptive.

I also like the under-bed nightlight. It lights up the floor around the bed without me having to turn on the main bedroom lights.

And when it’s time to do what the bed was made for, sleeping, I just lower it back down with the one-touch flat button. I sleep like a baby every single time.

One thing to know before you buy: this model isn’t designed for zero-clearance use, so you need to use the legs. The three leg heights let you pick how high you want the bed and how much storage space you want underneath.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Head and foot lift independently for a lot of positions
  • Great for working on a laptop or watching TV from bed
  • Zero Gravity, TV, and one-touch flat presets
  • Quiet motor
  • Under-bed nightlight
  • Adjustable leg height
  • 5-year warranty

Cons

  • Not compatible with zero-clearance setups, legs are required
  • The T450 doesn’t include massage or USB ports (you’d need the T600 for those)
  • It’s a heavy piece of furniture to move around, as you’d expect from a steel base

Who Is It For?

The Tami Tami T450 Adjustable Bed Frame is for:

  • People who work from bed and want real back support
  • Anyone who watches TV or reads in bed and is tired of stacking pillows
  • People who like elevating their legs to relax
  • Shoppers who want massage and USB charging, who should look at the Tami Tami T600
