Snoring, traffic, barking dogs, noisy neighbors. It only takes one sudden sound to wake you up at 2am. And if you’ve ever tried sleeping in regular earbuds, you know they stick out and press into your ear the second you roll onto your side.
Ozlo sent me its Ozlo Sleepbuds 2, and unlike regular earbuds, these are designed specifically to be worn while you sleep. What I really wanted to know was how comfortable they’d be at night, especially when I roll onto my side.
In this Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 review, I’ll cover what they are, the specs, the key features, how I used them, the pros and cons, who they’re for, and some common questions.

What Are the Ozlo Sleepbuds 2?
The Ozlo Sleepbuds 2 are earbuds built for sleeping, not everyday listening. They’re extremely small, sit low and almost completely inside the ear, and are shaped for side sleepers.
They work differently from noise-canceling headphones. The Sleepbuds 2 don’t use active noise cancellation (ANC). Instead, the soft silicone tips passively block some outside noise, and Sleep Sounds mask the rest with a steady, consistent sound. Ozlo says that sound shield is tuned for the low rumble of partner snoring.
They pair with the Ozlo app on iOS and Android, and they come with a Smart Charging Case that does more than charge. It can play Sleep Sounds, snooze your alarm, and measure your bedroom’s noise, light, and temperature overnight.

How I Used Them
The first thing I noticed was just how small they are. Once I put them in and tucked the top loop into place, they sat really low inside my ear. That matters to me because I don’t want a regular earbud sticking out and pressing against my pillow when I turn onto my side.
In my video, I show the Ozlo app and the different Sleep Sounds I can choose from. I can change what I listen to depending on what helps me fall asleep that night.
I’m not limited to Ozlo’s sounds, though. I can stream my own audio, like music, a podcast, or an audiobook. My favorite feature is that the Sleepbuds can automatically switch from what I’m streaming to a built-in Sleep Sound once I fall asleep. So I can start the night with something I actually want to hear without it playing all night long.
The goal isn’t to block out every sound. It’s to create a more consistent sound environment so sudden noises during the night aren’t as noticeable or disruptive. That makes sense at home, and I could also see myself packing these for travel, a hotel, or anywhere with noises I’m not used to.
The 14-hour battery is important for something that stays in my ears all night, and the Smart Case adds another two to three charges. I can also use the case to play Sleep Sounds or snooze an alarm without grabbing my phone.
The private in-ear alarm is a big one. It plays through the Sleepbuds, so I can wake up at a certain time without an alarm going off on my phone and waking up someone else in the room.
The app also shows sleep and environment information, like noise, room temperature, and light levels, plus sleep patterns over time.
For me, comfort is still the biggest thing. Regular earbuds weren’t designed for having your head pressed against a pillow for hours. These are much smaller, softer, and sit more flush in my ears, which makes a lot more sense when I’m trying to sleep.
What Amazon Buyers Say
Amazon’s review summary says buyers like the sound, comfort, and noise blocking, and that they help them fall asleep faster. Buyers say they fit securely and praise the battery life. Some buyers report trouble pairing with their phones, while others have no connection issues. It holds a 4.1 out of 5 star rating at the time of writing.
