Leftovers that go bad, meat with freezer burn, and meal prep that doesn’t last the week all mean wasted food and money. A vacuum sealer pulls the air out of the bag, which keeps food fresher for longer.
I really love the MOMODA Vacuum Sealer because it makes storing food super easy and keeps everything fresh much longer. I used it to seal some cooked pork chunks and a few sliced apples. This video was originally posted on my Ryzzun YouTube channel.
In this MOMODA vacuum sealer review, I’ll cover what it is, the specs, the key features, how I used it, the pros and cons, who it’s for, and some common questions.

What Is the MOMODA Vacuum Sealer?
The MOMODA Vacuum Sealer (model AP-25) is a countertop food sealer. You place the open end of a bag in the slot, close the lid, and press a button. It pulls the air out and heat-seals the bag shut automatically.
MOMODA calls it 8-in-1, and it has separate moist and dry modes, so it can handle cooked foods and marinated meats as well as dry foods. It also comes with a starter kit, so you can use it right out of the box.

How I Used It
How It Works
It’s really simple to use. For the pork, I put the chunks into one of the included bags, laid it flat, and set the open end inside the slot. I closed the lid and hit the vacuum seal button, and a few seconds later it automatically sealed the bag. The seal was tight, clean, smooth, and secure.
My Pork Test (Moist Mode)
The pork and the apples went into the fridge overnight to test how well they held up. When I opened the pouch the next day, the pork still looked and smelled fresh, and it kept its flavor and texture perfectly. The moist mode really helps when you’re sealing cooked foods like that.
My Apple Test
I also sealed a few sliced apples to see how the sealer handled fruit, and they held up overnight too.
Starter Kit and Design
It comes with some handy extras: a built-in cutter for custom bag sizes, gloves, bags, and even a suction hose. It’s compact, easy to store, and quick to use.
Things to Consider Before Buying
- Bags run out: the kit has 10 bags, so you’ll want more for regular use.
- Pick the right mode: use moist mode for cooked or wet foods.
- Leave room at the top: the bag needs enough empty space at the open end to fit the slot.
