Best Robot Vacuum for Hardwood Floors (2026): Vacuum and Mop Picks

On hardwood, the mop matters more than the vacuum. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro beat the average robot by 40 points in Vacuum Wars’ dried-on stain test while using only a little more water than average. Vacuum Wars, which buys every robot it reviews, said it expects the Qrevo S Pro to do better on hard floors than carpets.

Water use is the other half of the story on wood. Vacuum Wars says leftover water lengthens drying time and leaves streaks, especially on dark floors, so it measures what each mop leaves behind. The $279.98 Roborock Q10 S5+ scored above average on stains while using about half the average amount of water.

This guide compares four robots on mopping results, water use, mop washing and edge reach for hard floors. Prices were checked on Amazon on Oct 17, 2026.

What Matters on Hardwood

The Picks

Roborock Qrevo S Pro: Best mop for hardwood

Vacuum Wars said the mop was its favorite feature. The two pads spin at 200 RPM and lift 10 mm over carpet, and a carpet-first setting vacuums rugs before the pads get wet. Its combined mopping score was “much higher than average,” and it vacuumed and mopped Vacuum Wars’ studio about 15 minutes faster than average. The dock washes pads with 167°F water and dries them with 113°F air, an upgrade over the original Qrevo S (Vacuum Wars, “Roborock Qrevo S Pro: It Sells Like a Winner. Does It Clean Like One?”). Vacuum Wars recommends it for homes with mostly hard floors and few pets. $399.99. See the Roborock Qrevo S Pro on Amazon.

  • 18,500 Pa suction; 3.8 in low profile (listing)
  • 2.7 L dust bag, 7–9 weeks (listing)
  • Matter compatible; official runtime 240 minutes (Vacuum Wars)

eufy E25: Best for constant clean-water mopping

The E25 swaps spinning pads for a roller that is rinsed with clean water as it mops. Dirty water is squeegeed into an onboard tank, and the roller presses down with 14.7 newtons, according to Vacuum Wars, which rated the mop “good” with slightly above-average stain results (Vacuum Wars, “Eufy E25 Omni Review: Our Full Test Results and Final Verdict”). eufy says the roller is refreshed twice per second, and an extending CornerRover arm scrubs along baseboards. $599.99. See the eufy E25 on Amazon.

  • Roller lifts 10.8 mm on carpet (listing)
  • Camera obstacle avoidance: 21 of 24 obstacles avoided (Vacuum Wars)
  • Dock auto-empties into a 3 L bag, about 75 days (listing)

Roborock Q10 S5+: Best low-water budget pick

The Q10 S5+’s single pad vibrates to loosen stains. Vacuum Wars said its just-above-average stain score was “impressive” because it used about half as much water as average, which reduces the chance of streaks. Mop-pad lifting on carpet is “somewhat new” at this price, the channel added (Vacuum Wars, Roborock Q10 S5+ review). The base empties dust but doesn’t wash pads or refill water. $279.98. See the Roborock Q10 S5+ on Amazon.

  • VibraRise 2.0 scrubs up to 3,000 times per minute (listing)
  • Pad lifts 8 mm on carpet
  • Strong surface pickup on hard floors (Vacuum Wars)

Roborock Q7 M5+: Best for small hard-floor homes

Smart Cleaning Lab said mopping is one of the Q7 M5+’s stronger points and recommended it for apartments with mostly hard flooring that need a self-emptying robot that also mops (Smart Cleaning Lab, “7 Best Robot Vacuums for Small Apartments (2026)”). Roborock lists three water-flow settings, 10,000 Pa suction and a 2.7 L bag that lasts 7 to 9 weeks. $299.99. See the Roborock Q7 M5+ on Amazon.

  • PreciSense LiDAR navigation (listing)
  • Vacuums and mops in one pass (listing)
  • Roborock app with no-go zones

Hardwood Floor Tips

  • Because leftover water can cause streaks, per Vacuum Wars, try the lower water settings first.
  • Turn on floor-direction mopping if your app offers it.
  • If your robot lifts its mop on carpet, make sure carpet detection is on before mopping rooms with rugs.
