How to Receive Money on Cash App
Welcome back to the Money Mastery Series! Today, I’ll show you how to easily receive money using your Cash App account. Let’s dive right in.
Step 1: Find Your Cash Tag ID
- Open your Cash App and click on the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Your Cash Tag ID is displayed under your name. Share this with anyone who wants to send you money.
Step 2: Share Your Cash Tag
There are a couple of ways to share your Cash Tag ID:
- Via Message:
- Tap the arrow icon in the top right of the profile page.
- Send your Cash Tag ID as a message. Example: “Pay @AEMind on Cash App.”
- QR Code:
- Tap the QR code icon on your profile.
- Share this code with others so they can scan it to pay you directly.
Step 3: Request Money
- On the Cash App home screen, tap Request at the bottom.
- Enter the sender’s:
- Name, Cash Tag, Phone Number, or Email Address.
- Input the amount you want to request (e.g., $84,563) and tap Request.
Step 4: Check Your Received Payments
- Once someone sends you money, the amount will appear on your Cash App home screen with a plus icon and the dollar amount.
- Tap the transaction to view details like:
- Amount received.
- Date and time.
- Sender’s name.
Final Notes
- Be sure to share the correct Cash Tag ID or QR code to avoid payment errors.
- You can also receive money if the sender knows your phone number or email linked to Cash App.
