The JESLED 60W vertical grow light is a floor-standing plant lamp built for tall indoor houseplants. In my YouTube video published October 29, 2026, I show how the slim side-emitting bar sits beside a corn plant in a living room, how the mechanical timer and foot switch work, and why the 240° wraparound design matters when a plant is too tall for a typical overhead lamp. JESLED lists the light as a 60W full-spectrum fixture with an adjustable height of about 4 to 5.6 feet, and Amazon rates the listing 4.6 out of 5 stars from 26 ratings as of October 30, 2026.
In this JESLED vertical grow light review, I cover the specs from the Amazon and maker listing, what I show in the video, who this floor plant light is for, and how it compares with hanging or canopy-style grow lights for tall Monstera, fiddle leaf fig and similar plants.

What is the JESLED 60W vertical grow light?
Unlike a hanging fixture that shoots light straight down, the JESLED unit is a freestanding floor plant light. Amazon’s listing (ASIN B0H5TVSLTN, model SWT82436A) describes a 240° wide side-emitting bar that wraps light around tall plants, with a darker rear zone so you can aim the bright side at the plant and keep glare out of the room. In the video, I place it next to a tall houseplant in a living space and note that it takes up little floor room compared with bulky overhead setups.
JESLED markets the lamp for Monstera, fiddle leaf fig, philodendron, alocasia, anthurium, pothos, snake plants, ZZ plants, peace lilies and other tropical houseplants in dim corners, stairwells, shelves, home offices and bathrooms. The Amazon product page lists the brand as JESLED, sold by JESLED Official and fulfilled by Amazon when I checked on October 30, 2026.

Sources for the table: the Amazon listing for B0H5TVSLTN and JESLED’s Q&A on that page, plus the product features in my October 29, 2026 video description. Amazon gated the featured cash price behind an “add to cart” prompt when I checked, so the price row reflects the open third-party starting price near $51.99, a related same-height JESLED listing at $64.99, and a 10% coupon that appeared on the page that day. 240° side lighting for tall indoor plants
Tall houseplants often stretch toward a window and leave lower leaves dim. Overhead grow lights help the canopy, but they can leave the sides of a Monstera or fiddle leaf fig underlit. JESLED’s listing pitches 240° wraparound side lighting so one vertical bar can cover more of a plant’s height without constant repositioning. In the video I call out that design as the reason the lamp works beside plants in a living room, bedroom or office instead of hanging above them.

The rear dark zone is part of that layout: you can face the bright side at the plant and keep the dimmer back toward a wall or walkway. That is a practical detail for shared living spaces where a bright purple or pink horticultural light would look out of place.
Adjustable height from 4 ft to 5.6 ft
Amazon lists four height settings spanning roughly 48 to 67 inches (about 1.2 to 1.7 meters in my video narration). The pole uses long and short tube sections with a detachable design, and JESLED says assembly is tool-free. In the video I note that you can raise or lower the bar to match how tall your plant is, which matters when you move from a mid-size philodendron to a mature fiddle leaf fig.
The package list on Amazon includes the grow light with built-in power cord and switch, one long tube pole, one short tube pole, the circular base, the mechanical timer, Velcro and an installation manual. That parts list matches a freestanding floor lamp rather than a clamp or hanging kit.
Full-spectrum LEDs, CRI 95 and low-heat claims
JESLED describes a balanced mix of 3000K warm white and 6500K cool white diodes, plus 660nm red chips for growth stages from sprouting through flowering. The listing cites CRI 95 so leaf color looks natural enough to check plant health by eye. In my close-up frames you can see the white and red chips along the bar while it is on.

In the video I also mention that the light does not flicker and that it puts out almost no noticeable heat in indoor use—points JESLED repeats on the listing with an aluminum body for heat dissipation and a flicker-free DC-driven LED design in the FAQ. Amazon’s product information section lists up to about 7,000 lumens and a 6500K color temperature among the technical fields; treat those as listing figures rather than independent lab numbers.
Mechanical timer and foot switch
Scheduling is handled by a plug-in mechanical timer with pins for 15-minute intervals. Push the pins for the hours you want light, and the cycle repeats each day without an app. In the video I highlight that schedule for plants that need a steady photoperiod, and the foot switch on the base for quick on/off without bending down. JESLED’s FAQ says the power cord is about 9.84 feet, which helps when the outlet is not right next to the plant.

The weighted circular base is meant to keep the tall pole from tipping. JESLED’s listing claims the base stays stable even at a 10° tilt. In the video I note that the base helps when the lamp is extended to its maximum height.
How it looks next to houseplants at home
My video is a home walkthrough more than a lab test. I show the lamp beside a tall variegated corn plant near a window and talk about fitting it into everyday rooms. The slim black pole reads more like a modern floor lamp than a greenhouse fixture, which is the point for people who want supplemental light without a canopy hanging over the sofa.

JESLED’s FAQ on Amazon suggests starting with plants about 12 to 20 inches from the light and adjusting based on how the leaves respond. That distance guidance is from the seller, not from a separate grow trial in my video.
Who should buy this JESLED floor plant light?
Based on the listing and what I show on camera, this JESLED 60W vertical grow light fits people with tall houseplants in rooms that do not get enough sun, renters who cannot hang fixtures, and anyone who wants a timer and foot switch without an app. It is not a multi-bar greenhouse canopy, and it is not a smart Wi-Fi bulb. It is a single freestanding side light with a set spectrum and a mechanical schedule.
The product sits under $100 on Amazon as of late October 2026, which puts it below my usual $100 product floor for many aemind roundups, but I wanted a dedicated post for this video. If you need two poles for a wide plant wall, Amazon also lists a 4–5.6 ft × 2P size option on the same product page.
