Roomba vs Roborock: Roomba 415X vs Qrevo S Pro Compared (2026)

Reviewers lean Roborock: the $549.99 Qrevo S Pro undercuts the $610 Roomba 415X Combo and washes mop pads with hot water. Here is the full comparison.

In the Roomba vs Roborock matchup, reviewers lean Roborock: the $549.99 Qrevo S Pro costs less than the $610 Roomba Plus 415X Combo and washes its mop pads with hot water (Amazon listings, Oct 16, 2026).

Just A Dad Approved, a YouTube channel that reviews home gadgets, said he would skip the 415X at full price, citing its small bin, hair wrap and light mopping. In a separate test, he picked a Roborock Qrevo over a Roomba 405 for its app and mop washing.

The 415X still makes sense for small, uncluttered apartments or homes already using the Roomba app. The two ranked #5 and #4 in Amazon Best Sellers in Robotic Vacuums that day.

Which One Should You Buy?

Both list a dock that empties the bin, refills water and dries the pads. The iRobot Roomba Plus 415X Combo lists 20,000 Pa, a slim body and SmartScrub. The Roborock Qrevo S Pro lists 18,500 Pa, hot-water mop washing and a lower price.

Reviewers lean Roborock. The YouTube channel Just A Dad Approved would skip the 415X at full price (small bin, hair wrap, light mopping) and, in a separate Roomba 405 vs Roborock Qrevo test, picked the Roborock for its app and mop washing. The 415X makes the most sense for small, uncluttered apartments or if you are already in the Roomba app.

My Planned Test

Planned test: if I get both robots, I plan to run each one on the same floor plan and test mess, then compare pickup, mopping, hair wrap and how often each one gets stuck. I will add my results and my Home Smart video here when they are done. Until then, nothing on this page is a hands-on claim from me.

What YouTube Reviewers Found About Roomba and Roborock

These findings are paraphrased from the video transcripts and credited to each creator. They are the creators’ own test results and opinions, not mine.

  • Just A Dad Approved found the Roomba 415X maps well and is slim, but has a very small dust bin, a standard brush that wraps hair, and a side brush that kept popping off. He said the dock washed pads with room-temperature water in his unit.
  • He also reported that the 415X got tangled in a cable and needed several passes on muddy paw prints. His verdict: fine for a small, uncluttered apartment if you want the Roomba ecosystem, but he would skip it at full price.
  • Just A Dad Approved compared a Roomba 405 with a Roborock Qrevo (QV35A) at a similar sale price and picked the Roborock for its better app, mop washing and onboard water tank that keeps pads wet longer.
  • Vacuum Wars bought a Qrevo S Pro and called the mop its best feature: it beat the average in their stain tests by about 40 points, and the 10 mm mop lift lets it clean mixed floors in one run.
  • Vacuum Wars said the S Pro avoided only 5 of 24 obstacles, so they advise clearing shoes and cables before a run. They concluded it suits homes with more hard floors than carpet, and they don’t recommend it for homes with a lot of pets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Roomba or Roborock better in 2026?

For these two models, the reviewers I credit favor the Roborock Qrevo S Pro on mopping, app and price. The Roomba 415X is slimmer and simpler.

Which is cheaper?

On October 16, 2026, the Roomba 415X listed at $610.00 and the Qrevo S Pro at $549.99.

Which is better for pet hair?

Neither stood out in testing. Just A Dad Approved saw hair wrap on the 415X brush, and Vacuum Wars saw weak hair pickup on the Qrevo S Pro. See my pet-hair guide for stronger picks.

Does the Roomba 415X have a spinning LiDAR turret?

No. Just A Dad Approved notes it uses a front sensor instead of a top turret, which helps keep it slim.
