Step 2: Access the Crypto Section
- 1. Open the PayPal app on your phone. (This process is similar if using a computer, but this tutorial focuses on the mobile app.)
- 2. Navigate to your account section and look for the *Crypto* option.
- 3. Tap on *Crypto* and then click the *Add* button.
Step 3: Explore Cryptocurrency Options PayPal supports various cryptocurrencies, including:
- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Litecoin
- Bitcoin Cash
- …and more.
- You’ll see buttons for *Buy* and *Receive**. Tap on **Buy* to start purchasing.
Step 4: Accept the Terms and Conditions
- 1. Before making a purchase, you’ll need to agree to PayPal’s cryptocurrency terms and conditions.
- 2. Read through the details to understand your ability to buy, sell, hold, and transfer crypto through PayPal.
- 3. Once ready, tap **Agree and Continue**.
Step 5: Verify Your Account* PayPal will process and confirm your account information. Once this is complete, you’ll be ready to make your purchase.
Step 6: Make Your First Purchase*
- 1. Choose the amount of cryptocurrency you’d like to buy. For this tutorial, we’ll purchase **$5 of Bitcoin**. (You can start with as little as $1.)
- 2. Select your payment method:
  - PayPal balance
  - Debit card
- 3. Review the transaction fee:
  - For $5: $0.99 fee
  - For $500: $9 fee
  - (The fee structure varies based on the amount and payment method.)
- 4. Tap *Buy Now* to complete your purchase.
Step 7: Confirm Your Purchase
- Congratulations! 🎉 You’ve successfully purchased Bitcoin.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email from PayPal with the transaction details.
- Optional: Enable notifications for updates on your cryptocurrency account.

Review Your Crypto Balance Your Bitcoin will now be visible in your PayPal account under the *Crypto* section. From here, you can buy more, sell, hold, or even transfer it as needed.
